Culinary tradition is very important to us. That’s why we cook fresh and pay close attention to where the ingredients for our dishes come from. Here we uphold the old values and offer the classics of Austrian cuisine – as we know and love them, but prepared in a contemporary way. Down-to-earth, but not stagnant, cultivated inn tradition in the classic sense – the menu is written by the season & the region.

Gourmetrestaurant in the Sporthotel
Chef Yurii Novikov and his team spoil the guests of the gourmet restaurant in the Sporthotel.
Young, motivated, creative – the Ukrainian-born chef is all that.
Recently, our chef may fight in the pre-finals of the cooking competition for chefs under 30 for the highly coveted title “YOUNG WILD 20222”.
He attaches great importance to regionality, and likes to get his ingredients from the Natru in order to incorporate them into new creations – whether mushrooms, herbs or berries.”

Seewirtshaus
At the foot of the Hirschenkogel, right next to the idyllic Speichersee, lies our historic inn (farmhouse 1666). For people for whom eating and drinking are among the three most beautiful things in life! We serve seasonal specialities, a wide range of wines and fish from our lake. You can also catch it yourself if you wish.

Guesthouse Edelweiss

Café Dietmayer
To start the day off right, you will receive a lovingly prepared breakfast from us. Plus fresh pastries from the bakery and many delicacies from the pastry chef.
Café Alpincenter
In a cosy atmosphere, you can drink good coffee and choose between homemade pastries, ice cream sundaes and Heurigen platters right on the pass. In summer there is a large terrace centrally in front of the house.
House Liechtenstein
The Liechtensteinhaus is located at the summit of the Zauberberg at 1,350m above sea level, right next to the Hirschenkogel mountain station. The large sun terrace, the good cuisine and the umbrella bar “Paraplü” are a guarantee for an unforgettable day of skiing.
Borderland hut
Located directly next to the Happy Lift, our guests sit on the beautiful sun terrace. Ideal for fun hut evenings, family or company celebrations with Pfandlessen and other delicacies.
Golf & Country Restaurant Sommerspiel
Fresh wind in the Meierei.
The destination of perhaps the coziest hiking trail on the Semmering.
The Meierei at the golf course invites you to linger with rustic charm, a far-reaching view over the Semmering green and homemade delicacies.
Enjoy lovingly prepared cakes, full-bodied coffee as well as refreshing drinks and hearty snacks. Come by and enjoy yourself in a relaxed atmosphere.

Enzian cabin
Situated at 1,100m above sea level, guests enjoy down-to-earth, regionally sourced home cooking. Right next to the toboggan run and accessible from the slopes during the day and evening.
Polleres cabin
At an altitude of 1,481m, our guests have a wonderful panoramic view of the Semmering Railway World Heritage Site. You will be spoiled with home cooking and homemade pastries!

The "Löffler"
The Löffler family will spoil you with classics of Viennese cuisine and regional specialities. To match the fine selection of tea and coffee, we serve you irresistible classics of Austrian pastry cuisine. Very popular with us: Salzburger Nockerl and Löffler’s Kurhaus Torte made to an original recipe.
Restaurant is open Friday to Sunday from 1 July to 27 August 2023.
Café Pub Pinguin
The Pinguin, one of the most innovative buildings on the Semmering, is a cultivated café during the day with a wonderful view of the Zauberberg. In the evening you can enjoy selected wines with good music.
Zauberbar
Unforgettable après-ski feeling can be experienced in the Zauberbar, directly at the foot of the Hirschenkogel. Music for every taste and live acts make every evening a magical experience.
Hirsch´n Alm
The Hirsch`n Alm is located directly next to the valley station of the Blauer Blitz sports cable car and delights with its rustic interior. Guests are spoiled with traditional dishes.
