No traffic jams, no annoying search for a parking space – From May 26, the RUFbus ensures even faster and more convenient travel without a car. Simply book the RUFbus with the Postbus shuttle app, via your accommodation or the tourist offices and travel individually.

Stops:
In the region around Semmering and Rax, the RUFbus stops at around 120 points such as the Rax cable car, Festspiele Reichenau, Vinodukt Payerbach, Schaubergwerk Grillenberg, Speckbacher Hütte, Kalte Rinne, 20-Schilling-Blick, Südbahnhotel Semmering, Kultur.Sommer.Semmering, Bergbahnen Semmering-Hirschenkogel, Naturbad Gloggnitz, at the majority of accommodation and catering establishments and at train stations,…. When does the Rufbus run?
Daily from 9:00 to 18:30 – during cultural events in the summer, the service is extended in the evening.

What does a ride cost?
Free of charge for overnight guests with the MobilityCard+:
As an overnight guest, you receive the MobilitätsCard+ and can use the RUFbus free of charge for the duration of your stay (valid in participating accommodations).
Season ticket (26.5. to 30.9.):
€ 39,00, available in the municipal offices of Reichenau, Payerbach, Breitenstein, Semmering and Schottwien, network office Gloggnitz and gas station Slanar Reichenau
Single trip within one village or less than 4 km: max. € 3,50*
Children 6-14 years: 50% of the adult price
Children under 6 years: free of charge (seat must be reserved).
Payment is made directly to the driver after the ride. Each ride is charged according to the number of kilometers driven or the number of passengers. *Price for one adult within a town or under 4 km. For longer trips: max. € 1,00 per km/person. The fare is reduced, the more persons ride at the same time.

Good to know
There is no fixed timetable, the Postbus Shuttle runs according to demand. Therefore, a ride must be booked in advance using the Postbus Shuttle App or via your accommodation.
When booking, you can specify the desired departure time or the desired arrival time. Tip: Secure your desired departure time up to 30 days in advance.
There is no minimum number of people, even single travelers can use the service to the full extent.

In addition to the RUFbus, regular buses run from the Gloggnitz and Payerbach-Reichenau train stations in a tight schedule. For example, line 341 goes to the Rax cable car and through the Höllental valley, 342 takes you to the Preiner Gscheid and 343 goes from Gloggnitz via Maria Schutz to the Semmering mountain.
